Shade Specialist Training

Shade Specialist Training will be conducted during the January 2011 Dallas International Lighting Show by appointment only.  Space is limited so we ask that you please call us to reserve your spot now.  Due to the overwhelming response to our shade specialist training at the June Dallas Market International Lighting Show, we have split the training into two sections.

Basic— for those looking to stock shades for the first time, we have created a specialized curriculum-how to program pertaining to fitting a lamp and providing a customer with a shade efficiently and effortlessly in order to increase customer turnover and sales.

Specialist—for those looking to expand their already solid knowledge of shading lamps, we have created a specialized approach focused on custom orders and bigger jobs.  This section will delve deeper into the nuances of extending business through design contracts, Customer Own Materials, and thinking outside of the box.

Pay by Fax or Phone

In an effort to keep both our cost and the cost of our customers down, we are proud to introduce Check by Fax.  You can now fax us checks for immediate processing or download an ACH Form and return it to us.  Please note all checks are processed electronically so save yourself the postage and fax the check.  As of October 1, 2010 a 3% convenience fee went into affect for all credit/debit card transactions. Fabric Updates

·                   As many of you may be aware, fabrics have entered a period of volatility.  Please rest assured that Morlee is doing everything possible to maintain fabric inventory.  We have either secured or are in the process of securing substitutions for all issues while the industry finds its balance again. We will contact each customer with orders pending as substitutions are made. 

·                 Baronett Beige and Silkura Buff are for all intents and purposes, the same fabric.  Baronett Beige is no longer available.  Please remove it from your fabric samples.

·                     We are proud to introduce:

              Rerelease of the popular Supreme fabric. 

               Please contact your sales rep to order these samples.

·                  We are introducing a new collection of indoor/outdoor fabrics. Contact your sales rep to preview these new items.

·               White outdoor fabric is now available.

·               Vineyard Stone is temporarily unavailable; please substitute Vineyard Sand

  Many more fabrics and trims to be unveiled in Dallas.  Come see them for yourself.

Updating Store Information

Please note that all accounts must send us a current tax resale certificate where applicable.  We are currently updating our customer information As you receive your 2011 tax resale certificates, please send them over.  Orders may not be shipped until we have received this information.  You may begin this process by completing the customer information form found here: Customer Information Sheet

Vacation

We will be closing for our holiday vacation on Friday December 24, 2010 and reopening on Monday January 3, 2011.  Please continue to fax or email your orders during this time.
